Joseph X. Beauvais was the first Beauvais Ancestor to immigrate into Canada during the French Immigration from France. He arrived in Canada from France in 1755 with the French Army of the Marquis de Montcalm, Regiment de Languedoc, Company Denaudrai. He died in Chambly, Quebec on April 26, 1804 at the age of 72.
